Senior Finance Controller

Summary

This is a FD role in all but name as it encompasses all the key elements of the mix in a highly progressive food manufacturing business.

Job Description

Part of an international food manufacturing group, this business is a stand alone and P&L accountable operation that is at the forefront of supply to major UK retail.  It is a very fast moving environment in which the strategic relationship with the customer is of paramount importance.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be accountable for leading the Finance function across the business and liaising with Group colleagues.  You will tasked with ensuring all financial information is accurate and on time to help the ongoing management of the business.  The Exec Team, of which you will be a key member, operates on a highly cross-functional platform so you will be heavily involved in supporting senior colleagues on the financial implications of actions across their departments, improving performance, driving out cost and reducing waste.  You will also work closely with the MD on longer term strategic planning issues for the business.

You need to be fully qualified and ideally have experience from the Manufacturing sector.  You will have led and developed a finance team and instigated a true Business Partner approach to raise the profile of your people across a company.  You must be able to demonstrate where you have worked with Manufacturing and Commercial colleagues on successful bottom line improvement projects.
