Job Description

Our client is a major pan-European manufacturer of premium chilled and frozen protein based products supplying both the retail and foodservice sectors. With significant recent capital investment, a business that is growing year on year and an award winning product portfolio, our client is now looking to further strengthen the team with the appointment of a Quality Training Specialist.

Reporting to the National Account Manager as Quality Training Specialist you will work closely with the retailer store teams along with the site teams to drive product quality and sales within stores, increasing sales growth of specified products throughout the retailer. You will support the development of the brand into a product leadership position through strong sales growth and maintenance of high quality standards, which is key to the business strategy of differentiation. You will provide coaching to store teams along with working closely with site teams to monitor quality and support cost reduction activities.

Ideally with a degree in a food related subject, you will have appropriate experience in a similar function in a fast moving, customer driven environment or you will be a factory based quality expert. You will be a strong leader, demonstrating a relationship history with all major retailers across comparable product categories with an emphasis on value added lines. A good communicator and team player, you will have excellent organisational skills, strong commercial acumen and a flexible approach to work.
