You will have worked in product development and have the sensory skills to taste the difference in samples and make the necessary 'tweaks' to current recipes.This role includes the entire process starting from working on recipe optimisation right through the final launch.Reporting in to the senior development team, you will be given the autonomy to work on a specific category.  You must be a self-starter using your initiative, creativity and practical hands-on kitchen skills to drive each project.  As with all product development roles deadlines must be worked to so your organisation and prioritisation skills will be used every day.Strong communication skills are needed to organise trials and to monitor and keep a close track on their progress.  Whilst the relationship is well established with the manufacturing  team you will need to be confident and clear in all communications to ensure there is never any ambiguity or confusions when arranging trials.This is a six month interim role.

Candidates must have product development experience ideally in a chilled food production environment.
This is an urgent role with a start date in March 2011 so if you are interested speed is of the essence.
