Job Description

The client, based in London, produces a range of innovative and exciting added value chilled food products for one of the UK's major retailers. In terms of food manufacturing groups this is certainly one that you would want to have on your CV.

In this role you will be responsible for co-ordinating all information for new product specifications and transferring data into specific customer formats.

You will write, process and approve product specifications.  Have frequent interaction with suppliers on technical issues and have some interaction with the Customer on Technical issues relating to specifications.

You will be accountable for technical sign off for packaging, involving checking artwork against specification through several stages. Manage critical path for specification deadlines, and ensure that specification information is all correct and up to date for launch.

You will also request from Raw material co-ordinator, raw material specification and check all necessary information is there to complete retailer specification.  Liasing with suppliers to obtain all relevant information.

To apply for this position you must have:

Worked on a retailer account for at least a year
One years experience in a Technical role
High level of computer literacy
Worked on retailer specifications systems
