Job Description

Our client is a major pan-European manufacturer of premium chilled and frozen protein based products supplying both the retail and foodservice sectors. With significant recent capital investment, a business that is growing year on year and an award winning product portfolio, our client is now looking to further strengthen the team with the appointment of a Technical Account Manager

Reporting to the Group Technical Director, this role is responsible for ensuring the accurate application and implementation of all Customer codes of practice across all supply sites. Taking ownership of analysing customer data and creating appropriate action plans to roll out on site, the Technical Account Manager will manage all new site projects from a Technical perspective and ensure that the needs of the client are met and expectations exceeded where possible across all sites. As a key ambassador for the business; the role involves regular interaction with the customer; and through active listening developing the brand into a product leadership position through supporting the development of and adherence to excellent quality standards, which is key to the business strategy of differentiation.

Ideally degree qualified, you will have appropriate experience in a similar function in a fast moving, customer driven environment. You will be a strong leader, demonstrating a relationship history with all major retailers across comparable product categories with an emphasis on value added lines. A good communicator and team player, you will have excellent organisational skills, strong commercial acumen and a flexible approach to work.
