Job Description

Our client is a premium branded business manufacturing a range of luxury chilled products that are available in most of the major retailers throughout the UK and internationally. With a business that has demonstrated year-on-year growth and a prestigious award-winning product range that is estimated to be eaten somewhere in the world every 2 seconds, the business now seeks to appoint a Technical Manager to further strengthen the Senior team.

Reporting to the Operations Director and working alongside the wider Senior Management team, you will manage the Technical department for a £35m chilled / frozen branded food business. With 4 direct reports and a team of fifteen, your responsibilities will include QA and Hygiene across a site with circa 180 people along with responsibility for 3 satellite co-pack operations. The role will include auditing of co-packers and key ingredients and packaging suppliers, delivering BRC and ensuring that the business is fully technically compliant in all areas.

Ideally degree educated you will currently be managing a technical team in a similar high speed chilled FMCG production environment, or be a senior QA Manager looking to take the next step in your career.
