Job Description

This major Australian business is looking to change the way it does business by creating a true consumer lead experience for it customers.  In this role, you will be the company expert on animal welfare programmes and systems to underpin its brand quality position and enhance its reputation.

You will be responsible for developing Animal Welfare programmes in line with customer expectations, developing management frameworks to support and then implement these across the supply base with a mind for commercial practicalities. In this role you will liaise closely with internal stakeholders, NGOs and government to gain support and where necessary endorsement for the company’s brand position on Animal welfare.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships in these areas are vital. We are looking for extensive experience working with animal welfare programmes and the ability to communicate these across a wide stakeholder group. You will preferably have worked with poultry and /or pork but we will consider other livestock industries.
