Job Description

This business is part of a global enterprise with a small but productive facility in Australia.  The company supplies colourings for a number of large and small food/beverage/fmcg producers.
The company is looking to appoint an Applications Specialist to meet an increase in demand from customers over in Australia.  As part of a small team, your remit will be all-encompassing -  taking the brief from Sales through to creating recipes and up-scaling these with your customers.  This includes working closely with both the R&D and Marketing functions of customers as well as ensuring final application is on spec.

This is a great opportunity to flex both your technical and project management skills behind the scenes and in front of the customer.  You will need to be a self-starter who can work as part of a small team but also on your own when required.  Whilst your technical skills are important - gained anywhere along the ingredients spectrum (flavourings, or colourings, etc) - more important are you personal skills to be able to work as part of a small team.
