Job Description

Our client supplies some of the leading UK retailers with premium, hand crafted chilled prepared products.  This business unit is experiensing significant investment and is looking forward to a period of growth..

As Assistant Technical Manager you will act in a supporting role to the incumbent Technical Manager.  You will help develop and maintain an excellent relationship with retail customers ensuring all factory standards comply with their specific codes of practise and working technical policies.  As a key member of the technical department you will act cross functionally, ensuring a good working relationship particularly with your operational colleagues.  A good deal of your working day will be spent within the production environment, ensuring quality and safety of product is maintained.  As assistant technical manger you will also be involved in BRC and customer audits so experience in this area is key.

You will be degree qualified in food science or a related subject.
