A key role in a blue chip company, taking EMEA responsibility for a major, global account.

Job Description

This client is a global provider of high quality ingredients and innovative solutions to primarily the Food & Beverage Industries.

It is looking to appoint a Global Key Account Director who will report directly to the EMEA General Manager and be accountable for managing and developing one of the company’s most prestigious accounts.

You will work closely with a number of functional teams, such as NPD/Innovation as well as the Technical team, to design and deliver a growth oriented strategy for both businesses.

You will need to have first class interpersonal skills and a track record of developing close relationships with customers’ management teams at all levels. 

You will provide information on market trends, new ideas on developments, influence cost cutting initiatives as well as troubleshoot on production issues.

Your success will be measured on the above along with account profitability as you will have full accountability for all negotiations on prices, volume and commercial deals.

Ideally, you will have a food science plus business background/qualifications and at least five years key account management experience in the food sector. 

A track record of driving account performance through both relationship and commercial management are sought along with conceptual and strategic thinking ability.
