Job Description

Our client is a large fast paced chilled food manufacturer supplying Major Retailers, Food Service and B2B with short shelf life food products. The business has an exciting product range that match lifestyle foods. The business has recently restructured and is looking for a HR Administrator with a process bias who wants to progress their career with a growth product category.    

My Client has a successful track record of career progression.

Reporting into the Senior HR Officer, the HR Administrator will provide a comprehensive administration service specifically to the HR management team and to provide a front line/first point of contact HR service to employees and managers.

Key role accountabilities·

  • Provide administrative support and assistance to the Head of HR, Senior HR Officer and Training Officer.
  • Processing of leavers to the Company - Includes notifying the relevant departments as well as the associated paperwork.
  • Provide front line contact for the HR department, to include advising employees and dealing with queries on policies and procedures.
  • To ensure that all relevant HR administration is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for controlling HR and Training documentation for auditing purposes.
  • To act as a 'Barometer' to the Senior HR Officer in terms of the mood or culture at the business by identifying potential issues or concerns to them.
  • Complete project work in accordance with the HR plan.
  • Complete any other work as requested
  • Providing regular, and accurate probationary information (twice weekly) to line managers and producing the relevant letters (weekly). Also ensuring payroll is informed of any associated pay increases.

The ideal candidate will have:·

  • Knowledge of internal filing systems and HR processes and policies
  • The ability to be flexible in their role within the department
  • Good communication skills (verbal and listening)
  • The ability to demonstrate attention to detail in tasks / projects that are set
  • Previous HR administrative experience or evidence of HR knowledge (including employment law)
  • Certificate/Qualification HR related - Or working towards this qualification
  • A genuine interest in HR
