Job Description

The role reports directly to the General Manager and is part of the Senior Team on site.  The site is looking for a senior manufacturing candidate that can drive change and engage with the team to deliver the step changes required.

The client manufacturers a range of chilled products for the Major Retailers.  The culture is focused on Teamwork and Quality. The company has a successful personal development plans in place and is able to offer opportunities due to the number of different sites in the UK and Europe.

The role of Senior Manufacturing Manager encompasses all of the operation including: production, engineering, planning, and hygiene.  The site has around 250 staff.  The culture is one of respect for fellow colleagues and a commitment to achieve the goal set out.  Its retention of staff is high due to the culture and the ongoing investment into ‘doing it right’. The role would be responsible for setting and agreeing Manufacturing Budgets.  The role would utilise data and financial information to drive business to improve performance. It would interact with external customers and internal customers and therefore requires excellent communication

• Previous experience as a Senior Manufacturing or Factory Manager     
• Proven experience in change management.    
• Accountable for owning the Manufacturing Strategy   
• Commercial Acumen   
• Driven, Tenacious with a positive outlook.
