Job Description

Our client is a multi sited UK wide business manufacturing chilled and ambient short shelf-life product for the major retailers.

Due to continued business growth our client is now looking to add to the senior team with the appointment of a Production Manager.

Reporting to the Site General Manager and responsible through the Production Shift Managers for a team of up to 80, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a busy manufacturing operation and associated functions. Your duties will include managing KPI's including wastage, yield, labour recovery and line efficiencies along with managing disciplinary issues and training matters within the team.

Ideally of graduate calibre, you will currently be managing a similar operation in a busy, high-speed FMCG environment.

You will be a strong team player and an experienced leader with good commercial acumen.You will be used to working to extremely tight deadlines and managing to a stringent set of KPI's.
