Job Description

Our client is a key supplier to the major UK retailers, producing premium, hand crafted products.  The business unit is experiencing significant investment currently and as such is looking forward to a period of growth.

As Quality Auditor you will report directly to the Quality Manager and you will be responsible for monitoring products and processes to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained.  As Quality Auditor you will have an eye for detail and enjoy the ability to work autonomously, seeking help and guidance when needed and working effectively within the production environment.  Your main responsibilities will include auditing production processes to ensure products are consistently made to specification and recording your findings and actions and responding to any non-conformances.  You will also regularly evaluate ingredients and finished products against specifications.

You will be qualified to degree level in food technology or a related degree.  You will have some previous experience working in a quality focused role in a chilled foods environment.
