Operating on a  4 on 4 off shift basis (6am -6pm)  the role will entail preparing and amending production plans on a daily basis, incorporating changed orders, production, engineering, seasonal, promotional and  quality issues. Strong communication skills will be required as you effectively communicate all relevant information between customers and site. You will be the nominated point of contact for material and production issues effecting planned production and action accordingly and you will be responsible for investigating the differences in stock reconciliation and inform relevant managers.

Additional tasks will include Interrogating orders to ensure customers are ordering appropriately and feedback to customer and the Forecasting Analyst as well as monitoring over and under-produced lines to adjust systems accordingly for more effective and efficient stock control.

Haulage requirements and communicating stock issues to the despatch team will also be part of your remit as well, as liaising with 3rd parties with regards to stockholding and orders.

Ideally from a chilled foods manufacturing environment the successful applicant will need to be organised and assertive planner, able to use their own initiative, be self motivated and able to develop an excellent knowledge of plans and forecasts. Highly numerate with excellent IT skills you will also possess good communication skills to operate in this role effectively
