I have a new exciting opportunity for a Technical Services Manager to work within a large blue chip food manufacturing business.

Our client forms part of an international food-manufacturing group that is at the forefront of innovation in terms of chilled food products. This site produces a wide range of chilled, short shelf life food products for the Uks major retailers.

In this role you will manage the Technical Services function for the business unit / site, this may include; Raw Materials, Packaging control, Quality Systems and Technical Administration.  Through managing these needs, provide both interface and effective communication to enhance customer or suppliers perception of the company.

You will establish and maintain a review process for customer, business and industry codes of practice to review compliance and present action plans to the Technical & Operational teams thus driving continuous improvement and best practice across site. To ensure the QMS is updated as appropriate following such reviews.

You must positively communicate technical issues and updates by the most appropriate communication channels. Collate information relating to food issues / scares and similar events and communicate to Technical Management Team and other key business interfaces as required.

To apply for this role you must have at least 3 – 5 years experience within a Technical role and have a good understanding of operations within a food manufacturing facility.
