Job Description

This is a great role within a business that is enjoying significant growth, which has been primarily achieved by the successful and highly innovative new product development plan that has been implemented over the last couple of years.  As such they are looking to expand and grow their NPD team with a new Product Development Manager. 

As Development Manager you will be the senior contact for the businesses major retail customer and you will drive innovation and development inline with the briefs and development plans set out by the customer.  You will have direct reports who will support the concept development and help with the implementation and presentation of product proposals. You will also be responsible for conducting regular internal meetings with all functions of the business to ensure joined up thinking throughout the business.  As Development Manager you will report directly to the Innovations Director.

The successful candidate will have a good deal of experience working at a development manager level within a food business, chilled foods experience would be of particular interest. 

You be educated to degree level in a food related discipline.
