Job Description

Our client is a major pan-European manufacturer of premium chilled and frozen protein based products supplying both the retail and foodservice sectors. With significant recent capital investment, a business that is growing year on year and an award winning product portfolio, our client is now looking to further strengthen the senior management team with the appointment of a Head of Shared Services.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and with 6 direct reports, the purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the management of the Finance Shared Services Centre, ensuring the efficient and cost effective delivery of accounting services to business units, and working closely with Shared Service Managers to generate a culture of continuous improvement.

The Finance Shared Services Centre will be responsible for providing up to date and relevant financial information through various channels to provide relevant, accurate and timely reports on accounting processes, from payments through to budgeting. The function delivers accounting information to assist in the preparation of statutory and other returns/accounts, ensuring the provision of management information to assist the business in its development and delivery of excellent service.

Ideally degree educated you will currently be managing  in a similar high pressure results driven FMCG finance environment, or be a senior finance  specialist looking to take the next step in your career.
