Job Description

Our client is a major UK based chilled food manufacturing business supplying the major retailers with a range of premium snacking products.Due the increasing complexity of the supply chain as the business has grown, our client is creating a new role to oversee and develop the efficiency of this part of the business.

Reporting to the Commercial Director your role will be to coordinate all finished product movement between the factory sites and the 3rd party distribution depot and onward to the customer.Responsibilities will include ensuring that customer service levels are met and waste is minimised along with development and implementation of an effective S&OP process.You will also be required to liaise with multiple internal and external customers to ensure that promotional activity is managed through the business effectively.

Ideally you will already be managing a multi-sited supply chain function in a similar environment and have experience of planning / transport and distribution between the manufacturing base, distribution and retailer.
