Job Description

The role is an initial three-month contract with the potential to extend further.

Our client is a large fast paced food manufacturer, which supplies major UK retailers and foodservice companies with branded and own label products. This is a blue chip organisation, which is continuing to see growth.

The role itself involves all the usual aspects of an Engineering Manager's position.  You will be expected to hit the ground running and be capable of negotiating with suppliers, managing a team, supporting and developing individuals and understand the complexity of relationships within a food manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be managing a team of engineers on site, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and within regulations. You will be a proven communicator, working to engage individuals and bring a team ethic and inclusive approach to man management.

For this role, the successful candidate must:

• Be a qualified Engineer - Mechanical / Electrical
• Be capable of leading a team from the front
• Previous knowledge of PM systems
