Job Description

Our client is a leading food manufacturer based in the South West, the company produces award winning, hand crafted products for some of the UK’s most notable food retailers.  The business is experiencing significant growth currently and is now looking to strengthen its finance department with an experienced management accountant.

As Management Accountant you will report directly to the financial controller, the role comes with a great deal of autonomy; therefore experience within a similar chilled foods environment would be extremely beneficial.  As Management Accountant you will be responsible for providing sound Financial information for the site and key stakeholders.  This expert information will be used to provide the business exec team and the site operational teams with current and accurate information regarding the financial performance of the company.  As Management Accountant you will ensure that financial reporting is in place for daily, weekly and monthly meetings and you will also be accountable for ensuring corrective action plans are in place when necessary, to drive business performance.

To be considered for this role you will be a qualified accountant with good analytical skills, you will have experience of working within a food or FMCG environment and will have excellent communication skills.
