This is an excellent opportunity for a production professional to further their career within the food industry.

Our client based in Lincolnshire, produces different varieties of ready to cook products and supplies most of the UK’s retailers. I have been lucky enough to complete two days work experience at this site, which was highly enjoyable, and I can vouch that it is a warm and friendly environment and there is a real team ethic on site.

You will be responsible for a team of 20 and you will report directly into a Section Manager.  In this role you must ensure that your team are correctly deployed and are performing to standards in adherence to the plan. You must manage breaks and the shift changeover process to ensure it does not disrupt productivity and workflow. You will manage improvement activities including KPIs, waste management and production control processes, and associated administration and record keeping. You will also ensure that the team is performing to quality standards in terms of GMP, food safety, product quality and presentation and housekeeping.

Continental Nights (6pm to 6am)

• A good understanding of the manufacturing process, and its impact on performance in terms of efficiency, quality, materials and equipment
• Ability to communicate and influence with all levels of Operations personnel
