Our client is a branded business that uses state of the art, innovative product concepts to create products with clinically substantiated health benefits for their consumers.  The business has a number of R&D sites across Europe, including this site based in the North West of England.  The Company is one of the fastest growing food groups in the world and to continue this growth, they are looking for an NPD Technologist to join their UK based team.

As NPD Technologist you will report directly to the Product Development Team Leader, the role of the Product Development Team is to identify new product ideas and lead the different stages of product design, development and trials right through to product launch.  As a technologist you will work closely with all functions of the business, managing a portfolio of projects and delivering reports and presentations at a senior level.  As a new product development technologist you will provide on going technical support to the business for new and existing products, so a sound technical understanding of food is essential for this role.

To be successful in your application you will have a scientific, food related degree or a pharmaceutical background.  You will have a passion for food and a track record of successfully innovating commercially viable products.
