Replacement recruitment has presented an opportunity for a strong Process Manager to come in and work closely with the NPD & Production teams to ensure the smooth and successful launch of new products into the factory.

This positions focus is to manage the ‘Delivery’ element of product development, liaising closely with the Development Managers & Technical Managers, ensuring that products meet the required quality, legislative and safety standards. The main accountabilities are: 

• Manage the process technologists to carry out all associated innovation projects and other work in line with agreed critical path. This includes factory feasibility trials, factory trials & pre-production trials and technical or factory advances
• To ensure that any relevant food safety legislation and product quality factors are taken into account during development and to evaluate all associated risks and establish relevant controls prior to introduction of a new process product or raw material
• In conjunction with Production, Engineering & Technical teams, instigate, organise and lead trials that result in improvements to the production process and efficiency
• Critical Path Management Skills 

The ideal candidate will have worked within a chilled food environment in a Process role previously. You will have strong people management skills in order to lead and motivate the direct reports associated with this position.
