In recent years they have proudly seen significant growth, and are on track for continued success. To enable them to remain at the forefront they are seeking to recruit talented NPD professionals with a real breadth of product experience, product developers who can bring further expertise to the department.

We are looking for experienced Food NPD Managers, who are ready to take on more responsibility with direct accountability for a team of Product Developers. Based within a food retailer Head Office environment you will work very closely with cross functional teams, really get to know and understand your customers and be tasked to deliver a fantastic ranges that will interest and excite and bring them back to store time and again. Reporting directly to the Development Director you will need to be able to play a key role in the strategic developmental growth of this business. Possessing a positive, collaborative team ethic is vital, as is your energy and enthusiasm, which will need to be boundless. You will be pushing and driving categories as well as the Brand. 

Candidates with either retail or manufacturing backgrounds with significant experience of either working in a chilled or ambient food product NPD environment are welcome.

• A proven track record in NPD
• A real passion and knowledge of food
• An understanding of the consumer and their needs
• Effective leadership skills
• Previous experience of managing a team, able to lead / mentor the NPD team, guiding others to achieve
• Have well honed influencing skills, able to operate at a senior level
• Deliver focused development of new products in conjunction with the trading and quality teams internally Utilise your commercial acumen to deliver Ability to build trusted two way working relations with the supply base, able to maximise sites core potential whiles stretching and challenging boundaries
