Job Description

This provides an excellent opportunity to join a huge blue chip chilled food business manufacturing a huge range of differing products for the major retailers. Specifically this is a well-regarded site within the group and supplies high end products to its major customer. You will have the pride of seeing products you are directly responsible for on the shelves of the major retailers and work within a highly engaging environment.

This position is a Monday-Friday role for a fast moving short shelf life business and so a proactive nature is required in order to cope with the pace of the business. The main purpose of this role is successfully launching newly created products into the factory after handover from NPD to the launch with the required quality. Other responsibilities include:

• Managing the critical path
• Ensure everything is adequately documented
• Budgetary management

The ideal candidate will have worked in a process/NPD role within a chilled food manufacturer previously and enjoy successfully launching new products into the factory. Therefore someone with excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with NPD/Production/Sales & Marketing/Procurement teams will be vital. They will also understand factory processes and the way large-scale manufacturing will affect product quality.
