Job Description

Part of highly profitable and ambitious Group which has a dominant presence within its sector, this company has developed an exceptional business partnership with its major retail clients. With its modern facilities and considerable product expansion plans, you will find yourself working within a fast moving and dynamic environment that will offer scope to progress within a premier organisation.

Reporting to the Technical Manager your key objective will be to manage the day to day activity of the site technical systems, overseeing product safety, quality and regulatory compliance to customer specifications. This will encompass all artwork, labelling and specification checking and sign off. You will also deputise for the Technical Manager and be the key contact with one of the UKs major retailers.

You will have a successful background either as a Technical Services Manager, Technical Manager or Quality Manager  within the FMCG Food industry with a sound understanding of retailer specifications and food legislation. You will feel comfortable in a customer facing and supplier facing role and have a track record of ensuring product safety and the timely delivery of products. Team focused you should also be able to demonstrate good leadership skills and be comfortable working alone or within a group.
