Job Description

Our client is one of the UK’s leading retailers based in the South East, the business is currently looking to strengthen its technical team to help drive product quality and innovation.

As Category Support Technologist you will work closely with technologists to deliver accurate technical and management information to support the technical team.  You will also be involved in technical action groups playing a key role in facilitating these.  As Category Support Technologist you will provide support for categories and technologists during crises and incidents and in the event of legal challenges.  You will also have contact and interaction with suppliers and will be responsible for presenting accurate information and KPIs.  Working with cross discipline groups on new initiative that require technical inputs will also be part of the remit for the Category Support Technologist.

To be considered for this technical role, you will have a degree in food science or a related subject and have a passion for working within the food industry.  Previous experience working within the retail or food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
