A HR Manager vacancy has arisen to join a large dynamic food manufacturing business. This role will provide leadership to the HR and L&D team. It is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong generalist HR skill set.

Job Description

The client manufactures a diverse range of food products.  The culture is focused on teamwork, skills development and customer service.  This is a growth focused business that has both organisational and people development projects on the horizon.

The role of HR Manager has responsibility for manufacturing facilities based in the South East / Home Counties.  As a key member of the management team, you would work closely with Commercial, Manufacturing, Finance, Purchasing, and Technical departments.  You will need to be highly influential across the business, adding to the strategy on both HR and wider operational issues.   In addition, you will need to demonstrate well organised and strong project management ability.    

The role would lead an H R team of c.5 people.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR Manager with proven track record in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Previous experience as an HR Manager responsible for a manufacturing site.    
Proven experience in all aspects of the HR mix.     
Seen as the HR Expert for the Business.    
Change management experience.    
Ideally CIPD qualified.    
Union experience.    
Drive and tenacity, with a positive outlook and well developed influencing ability.
