Job Description

A pre-requisite will be to have extensive experience in dealing with major retail clients and an excellent grasp of the chilled ready meal sector. You will be happy and willing to get involved directly with cross-functional teams to ensure everyone understands the huge benefits of NPD, and you will ensure that high product quality continues to be delivered across each and every new product launched.

You’ll be joining a dynamic team that has set industry standards in terms of first to market products, people who are certainly not afraid to step outside the norm challenging the accepted conventions of the market place for added value chilled foods. They have built up an enviable customer portfolio who expect industry leading standards of product quality and innovation - and that is what you must deliver.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director you will need to be able to demonstrate that you can bring real consumer and commercial understanding to the business that will provide competitive advantage. This is a role that many in the food industry will find highly attractive, so competition will be fierce and selection criteria will be exacting. However, for the successful candidate it will be the role that potentially defines their career.
