Innovation Chef

Summary

An Innovation Chef is required for a business that will only accept the best.  This role is without question one of the premium NPD Chef roles in the UK and as such requires a Chef with both manufacturing NPD Chef experience and fantastic restaurant credentials, one who has uncompromising food standards and food knowledge. 

Job Description

Our client is at the vanguard of New Product Development often setting the benchmark standards that others strive to achieve. This role will mainly be based in London but will require flexibility to travel on a regular basis to suppliers or on study tours.

As the group Innovation Chef you will drive product excellence working internally with the wider Food Product Development Team, delivering inspirational and training workshops and drive innovation and NPD projects. You will work also on your own strategic focused projects that will deliver cutting edge products, working closely with the manufacturing supply base to ensure delivery is without compromising food standards and quality. You will explore new ingredients, food trends and new food technologies with the clear aim to maintain a market-leading presence. It is expected that you will be well networked and know where to seek expertise, resourceful in your thinking, receptive to others ideas, encouraging and guiding in your personal approach to ensure that culinary skills, food values and knowledge are developed and challenged internally and in the supply base.

This is a business critical role, it will be hugely challenging yet exceptionally rewarding. Only those who are experienced and talented Chefs, strongly preferred with manufacturing / npd experience will be considered.
