Shifts to be 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm

Our client is a pan-European food manufacturing business with many sites throughout the UK and supplies a range of premium protein based products to the high-end retail market.Due to continued business growth, our client is now looking to strengthen the operations team with the addition of a multi-skilled engineer.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and as part of the wider engineering team your responsibilities will include attending factory breakdowns, carrying our planned preventative maintenance and assisting in driving the change from ‘repair culture’ to improvement culture’ across the business.You will be a multi-skilled, electrically biased engineer and ideally will have had a formal engineering apprenticeship.

You will already be working in a high-speed food manufacturing environment and have some experience of Lean manufacturing techniques.
