Job Description

Our client is a leading chilled prepared foods business producing hand crafted, premium products for the leading UK retailers.  The business is rapidly growing and enjoys good relationships with its retail customers, and as such they are looking to grow their planning team with a new, experienced planner.

As a planner in this fast paced business you will be responsible for developing excellent relationships with your retail customer, ensuring a full and excellent understanding and appreciation of their systems and the nuances of how they work.  You will design and generate weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports and will be responsible for continuously improving forecasting techniques, methods and approaches.  As a Planner you will be the primary point of contact with not only the customer but also the commercial and operations teams within the business for all supply chain issues.  This will include capacity planning for events and new products and the day to day tactical forecasting and planning processes.

To be successful in your application for this Planning opportunity you will have previous experience working with retail customers in a fast paced chilled environment in a planning role.  People management skills and experience would also be beneficial.
