Job Description

Our client is a major chilled prepared foods company, producing award winning, hand crafted products for the leading UK retailers.  The business is going through a significant growth programme and as such is looking to strengthen its team in a number of key areas including logistics and planning.

As Planning Manager you will be the main point of contact with the main retail customer for all supply chain related issues.  You will also be the major contact for the commercial and operations teams internally.  As Planning Manager your remit will include capacity planning for events and new products, overseeing and managing the forecasting process and planning system as well as managing the planning team.

To be a success in this role of planning manager you will be experienced in managing teams and setting clear objectives and targets.  You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.  To be considered for this planning manager role you will have previous knowledge and experience of working in a planning team within a fast paced chilled foods environment.
