Job Description

The client has a well-received product offering supplying the major multiples. It is renowned for    Developing careers through support, training and development.

This role will focus on designing and evaluating innovative processing options which implement new products into the factory plus the need for continuous improvement in business efficiency and cost reduction.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• To champion the scale up of new products from concept through to launch with a view to developing the most efficient/cost effective process in line with Customer and Food Safety standards.
• Deliver robust labour costings and review product costings and ensure the Site and Business Manager are regularly updated.
• In liaison with Production, support the planning, organising and controlling of resources to achieve effective day to day management of trials and long term achievement of critical paths.
• To recruit, lead, motivate and inspire direct reports to achieve personal development and continual improvement.

The ideal candidate will have previous Process experience within the food industry. They will need to show examples of launching new products into the factory as well as process optimisation.
