Job Description

Our client is a major retailer that has a well recognised reputation for product innovation and quality.  Based in the South East it has a large central buying team including dedicated NPD resource.

Heading up a large chunk of the product portfolio, you would be accountable for the strategic direction of the NPD plan, and its delivery through a team of managers and their category focused product developers. Working across an international supply base, you would be responsible for the direction of truly inspirational, commercially viable and leading edge NPD activity that sets the agenda in UK food retailing.You must have experience in high quality strategic NPD, operating at senior Exec Team or even Board level. 

You must be an influential person who can bring peers and colleagues along with you to new areas of innovative food category development.  You will leading a large team of professional product developers, so past experience in heading up NPD personnel is necessary.
