Production Shift Manager

Our client is a European wide chilled food manufacturer supplying many of the major retailers, foodservice and business-to-business with a range of protein based products. Building on continued growth and success our client is now looking to strengthen the management team by the appointment of a Production Shift Manager.

Reporting to the Factory Manager and managing a rotating 6-2 / 2-10 shift your responsibilities will include ensuring that production schedules are met on time in full, line efficiencies are achieved and product wastage is managed. You will also ensure that labour budgets are managed to specification and that product quality and safety is a major and continuing focus.

Ideally degree qualified or equivalent, you will be managing in a similar FMCG environment managing a shift or a production team. Experience of short shelf-life chilled food production will be an advantage but our client will consider candidates from other backgrounds.
