Job Description

This is a great opportunity to join a market leading food business that forms part of a large international chilled food group. The site is based in Nottinghamshire and produces a range of delicious chilled food products for most of the UK’s major retailers. It’s definitely a product range that you would want to carry out taste tests on!

In this role you will audit, monitor and evaluate quality systems and procedures, and provide technical support for the operational teams whilst maintaining and promoting technical and quality standards in line with business need and customer requirements.  

You must audit compliance against Quality Management Systems and GMP, raising all non- conformances against relevant standards with objective evidence enabling the operational teams to take the appropriate and necessary corrective action, to follow up and monitor completion of actions.

You will support the factory teams by providing technical support and advice, seeking guidance from the QA Manager on any technical issues e.g. CCP, calibration of measuring equipment, labelling, raw materials, and traceability.  You must work with the production teams on continuous improvement of technical control.
