Quality Account Manager - Food Manufacturing

Summary

This role is focused on working with the Customers and responding to any Technical queries such as Quality issues, Specifications, Packaging artwork  etc. It also works closely with the sites developing relationships across the functions enabling rapid communication between customer and sites.

Job Description

The client supplies own label and branded Food and Drink products to the Retailer and Food Service customers.  It believes in leading and developing its sector and is constantly looking to improve.  It has excellent scope to develop employees within there chosen function and also across functions.  It is a growing company and therefore is able to provide excellent career prospects.

The role is based within a growing Head Office Technical team.  The role reports to Head of Technical UK.  A typical day is varied looking at customer audits and reviewing corrective actions, KPI reporting, Specification, Artwork, Quality and Technical queries. The focus is also to develop excellent relationships with the sites and also the Customers to ensure that there is ongoing communication at all levels.

Food Science Degree or equivalent ionKnowledge of KPI reporting and managing Corrective ActionsKnowledge of Specification and ArtworkExcellent Communication and Negiotiation SkillsExposure to Major RetailersFood Manufacturing required.
