Technical Administrator

Summary

A Technical Administrator is sought to help support Technical Departments at two manufacturing sites.

Job Description

This role is based in Cambridgeshire, but does require travel to Suffolk on a regular basis to help support a second Technical Department. This particular business is a division of a large meat processing group and is dedicated to supplying one of the UK’s major retailers.

In this role you will work closely with the Technical Managers to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Technical departments. You must ensure all QA documentation is available to both production and members of the QA team as appropriate. You will also compile and distribute KPI reports to the Technical team and ensure all technical documentation is completed and readily available for audit purposes.

You will manage supplier performance, supplier assurance and other databases as required and identify any trends regarding non-compliances, complaints etc.

An awareness of the technical requirements of due diligence within the fresh food sector, ideally within the meat industry.
