Job Description

This business is part of a multi-sited, multi-product food giant with sites all across the UK. They are innovation led and quality driven and are seen as market leaders in a number of areas. This specific site has undergone recent change with a positive outlook for the future. After our site visit and factory tour, I can thoroughly recommend this as a positive working environment that offers challenge and reward in equal amount. It has an excellent process flow and the scale of the factory is genuinely impressive. The business’s new structure offers excellent opportunity for career progression across a number of different areas.

This role will be focused on appropriately managing a section of the factory in order to deliver against set KPI’s & will drive improvement in performance. It will be seen as a coach and mentor whilst driving change through their teams.

What is needed here is strong people management skills and ideally, a knowledge of bakery processes. Therefore, anyone who has worked in a large scale manufacturing environment, particularly within the bakery area who has excellent people management skills will be of interest. Other skills will include gathering & analysing information, problem solving and decision making, change management and planning & organisation.
