Job Description

The remit for this Commercial Manager role is to develop the Scottish operations of a UK food company by generating new avenues to compliment activity already in the retail, B-2-B and foodservice sectors. As part of the Senior Management team, you will assess, recommend and manage investment and resources for all commercial activities associated with the site. This will include developing, implementing and managing the product and account strategies to deliver profitability from the portfolio, largely through NPD.

Experience of managing a diversity of customer channels would best suit this role in order to meet the commercial needs of each sector. Equally important is the ability to work with NPD/Innovations teams to capitalise on the customers’ product offerings. A track record of developing and implementing collaborative business plans with key trading partners is sought along with the strategic capability to drive a business through optimising relevant commercial opportunities.
