The key focus is to recruit a Director of Category Development to drive business growth. Success in the role will be seen by a demanding Innovation programme with truly unique concepts and ideas; the development of a clear and stretching commercial strategy; the identification and alignment of strategic supply partners; and the unification of all disciplines in the business into a focused team - all working for the same goals.We are searching for a progressive manager who has significant future potential for the Group. As always, we are looking to find someone with the technical skills to deliver the role, matched with strong and appropriate values to be an effective architect of the business culture.
We are looking for a track record in strategic marketing and planning, and direct involvement in multi-functional business development initiatives at a senior level. Experience of devising and delivering a full mix of marketing plans – although the majority of your activity will be b-t-l.- in a food /drink focused FMCG business. We are also looking for proven experience of developing Marketing teams and having worked closely with NPD and Sales colleagues to deliver excellence. You will have a logical and clear career plan and be ambitious to progress in a dynamic and successful organisation.
