Job Description

Recruiting Interim Product Development Managers for a leading international client. We are looking for experienced Food Product Development Managers who have good experience working with/for food manufacturers who have had significant exposure to the major food retailers. A Product Developer who has managed the critical path, worked closely with other functions to ensure timely delivery of products with a strong innovative, creative flair.

You will be tasked to manage projects and be a self starting individual who can work with minimal supervision managing priorities effectively. You will have the confidence, from your experience and knowledge of the food industry, to work in tandem with the supply base, developing new products ensuring the end result provides the consumer with an attractive, eye catching innovative product.

You will need to propose clear briefs and ensure at all times you are of aware of the critical path working towards specific launch windows. Working collaboratively with the supply base you will identify new business opportunities.

Reporting to the Head of NPD you will deliver products in accordance with the set business strategy, responding to customer insights, trend information and competitor activity. Combined with this you will need to be passionate about food, innovative focused and systematic, a careful planner with an eye for detail.
