Our client is a large successful FMCG / food manufacturer that supplies both major UK retailers and foodservice companies. You will get to see both sides of this branded and own label business. Being part of this company will allow you to gain great experience in a hands-on capacity.

The successful candidate will have gravitas and be an accomplished man manager. As the Interim Shift Production Manager you will be reporting into the Operations Manager. Managing a team of 8-10 staff you will be monitoring KPIs, quality, hygiene and safety. As an innovative business the client is looking for a candidate who can drive continuous improvements and motivate a team to achieve individual and business objectives. You will need to have good communication skills and understand the demands and pressures of a fast paced manufacturing environment. The shift pattern will be rotating shifts of days, afternoons and nights.

You must have: -

• Previous experience in a similar role within a food manufacturer
• Experience of leading a small to medium sized team
• Excellent communication skills and have the personality to bring a team with you
