Our client is a major, premium chilled supplier to all major UK retailers, foodservice and business-to-business with may sites throughout the United Kingdom.With a significant track record of success and a business that is enjoying a period of consistent growth and development, our client is now looking to strengthen the site management team by the appointment of a Night Hygiene Manager.

Reporting to the Factory Manager, with 3 direct reports and a team of circa 22, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective cleaning of the factory during the manufacturing downtime period during the night. You will also manage the ‘deep-clean’ team operating over the weekend and have ‘dotted-line’ responsibility for the day shift hygiene team carrying out basic housekeeping tasks and some low level cleaning.Your role will entail ensuring that strict cleaning procedures are adhered to at all times, that all equipment is cleaned to standard and that the factory is ready for start-up the following day.

Ideally you will be managing a hygiene team in a similar fast paced FMCG environment and hold the relevant hygiene qualifications or you will be in a Team Leader position and be looking to make the step up into a management position in order to develop your career.You should be a strong team player and be able to work effectively under your own supervision.
