Job Description

The role reports to the Manufacturing Manager. The role manages a team of over 200 people, through 4 shift managers. The site is currently going through significant change to improve current practices. It is therefore an outstanding time to join this company if you enjoy developing and motivating production teams.

The client is an added value chilled food manufacturer and operates manufacturing sites throughout the UK. This role is based out of their Nottinghamshire site. This role would suit a talented Production Manager with a progressive track record of delivering process improvement. People management skills are very important, as the operation is labour intensive. Good communication skills and a clear production strategy are essential to success in this role.

The client will consider candidates with food manufacturing from chilled, ambient or frozen. You need to demonstrate the ability to implement new processes and deliver production improvements through the team. The Client is keen to recruit an individual into the role who is progressive, passionate about delivery and can deliver a change management programme.

This is a successful site with established customers and this role will add to their operational team on site.
