Job Description

Our client is part of the Danone Medical Division, they are one of the worlds leading medical food companies, producing products for patients with specific metabolic diseases.  The business puts a great deal of focus on innovation and development and as such they are looking to strengthen their R&D team with high calibre, scientifically minded graduates with a passion for food and the food industry.

As a product technologist in this supportive, innovative development team you will be responsible for developing new products from concept to launch.  You will work with products, developing and testing in the labs, trialling in pilot plants and up scaling to full factory production, sometimes managing multi projects.  You will work with scientific researchers, nutritionists and process engineers to ensure products are of the highest quality and meet all consumer and business demands.  As a successful product technologist you will provide on going technical support to the business for new and existing products, so a sound technical understanding of food is essential for this role.

To be considered for this opportunity you must have a good degree in a science discipline with experience or a keen interest in the food industry.  You may be a new graduate looking for your first break into the food industry, or you could already have some relevant industry experience.
