Our client has a blue chip reputation with multiple sites, within a fast paced food manufacturing environment. They are a market leader producing branded and own-label household named food products. Due to an internal promotion the business is looking for a Production Shift Manager, reporting into the Operations Manager who wants to progress their career with a growth product category. My Client has a successful track record of career progression.

We are actively seeking a Production Shift Manager, three shift rotating, who has worked within an FMCG environment, such as food manufacturing or packaging.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will manage the shift production activity for the shift. The chosen candidate will play a key role within the Operations team – leading and working alongside a small team of Production Operatives to ensure production targets are met in line with company safety, quality and hygiene standards and Corporate Values.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, developing and motivating the shift team
• Ensuring KPIs are met/exceeded
• Driving Continuous Improvement through team involvement to ensure performance targets are met/exceeded
• Promoting a positive, safe culture where all team members contribute

The successful candidate will ideally have a FMCG (preferably within a food manufacturing environment) with experience of managing people and a positive “can do” attitude along with good communication skills.
