Job Description

Based in the southwest our client is part of a manufacturing group of companies with sites across the united kingdom.Manufacturing a range of premium short shelf-life products for the UK’s most prestigious retailers our client is looking to double the size of the business through organic growth and is currently undertaking a significant number of new product launches to support this growth.

Reporting to the Head of Technical and managing a team of up to 40 people, your responsibilities will entail day to day management of the site Quality Assurance and Hygiene functions, ensuring that all technical procedures are adhered to, any quality issues are addressed and all technical audits are completed to schedule along with ensuring that the factory is cleaned to standard on a daily basis. You will also be expected to deputise for the Head of Technical in his/her absence.

You will be a proven Quality Assurance / Technical Manager with a track record of delivery in this area ideally in a short shelf-life chilled environment. You will possess a formal HACCP qualification and a detailed understanding of BRC Global Standard v.5
